100 lbs. In 300 Days - Day Eighteen

Friday, October 12, 2012

Well now, Day 18 was so much better! I got up very early and picked up my friend Amy. We went to school and I aced my Anatomy Quiz! Yay! I was really excited!

After school, I made up some signs for my husband's lodge. They are having a breakfast tomorrow, and we were concerned about there being enough advertising for it. My daughter and I hung up signs around town, and then went to visit my parents for a little while. When we got home, I baked some cakes and froze them. I will be decorating them on Sunday for a bridal shower. I was really proud of myself. I didn't lick the beaters AND I made cupcakes with the leftover batter and didn't touch a single one of them!

For those following the food, I had some turkey, some cheese a little bread and some low fat milk for breakfast. At lunch I had roasted turkey (yeah it was poultry kind of day) with some homemade barbecue sauce and some baked Lay's bbq potato chips. Supper was simply a bowl of corn chowder and a glass of water. For snacks throughout the day, I had sweet potato chips, popcorn, a banana and a small package of Unreal 41 Candy (think M&M's). I went to bed with calories to spare! Hooray!

Tonight I am taking my youngest son to visit my oldest son. Josh, (my oldest) lives in Lafayette, IN. That's a couple of hours away from us. So we will meet in the middle and the boys will go back to Lafayette from Indianapolis. They will be celebrating the Purdue Homecoming. That will leave Sara (my daughter) and I alone for the weekend. Well, we will have Dozer to keep us company! He's a great dog! We will have plenty to do though! Our weekend is stacked. Please say a little prayer that I can make it through the weekend gracefully without diving head first into a cake or a pizza or some other tempting goodness! Have a great weekend everyone!

Um, no, I didn't exercise yet. Dang it.

Peace and Love to All,

Here is Josh at one of his first Purdue Football Games. He has graduated now.
