Iím choosing to be healthy. So that means making time for the things that are important to my health. It means making time for the gym. It means eating as healthy as I can. It also means not always having what I think I want. It means prioritizing my health above certain foods. I do believe that I donít have to totally give up some of the things I love. But I also know that I do have to sacrifice being able to eat some of those lovely things on a regular, or even semi-regular basis. I have to limit them. My downfall is sweets. I LOVE them. I would eat them all day, every day if I could (and kinda did for a while which contributed to my being obese). However doing so only puts me in a place I donít want to be. I also am one that once I start eating sweets, I tend to over indulge. So if I have my priorities straight, there are many times sweets need to be sacrificed Ė even if there is room in my calories for the day. I will confess, I have been less than perfect on this quest, but do pretty well over all.
The concept for weight loss is easy. Itís the everyday choices that are hard.
