Wanted to share something that really works for me when I am trying to eat light and want filling good food. When I make my main meal which I have around 2pm in the day (yes we retired folks can do that), I make myself a serving of a hot cereal and put in a corning ware dish to have later. I usually make Cream of Buckwheat, my favorite, but they don't always have it down here in Mexico, so lately it's been Oat Bran. I add a banana, vanilla, chocolate almond milk, and almonds. I add the almonds after I reheat it later in the evening. This really works for me as then it is already prepared and easy to heat up with no fuss or mess. All ready to go. I find this meal very satisfying and it is sweat with the banana and I add a little stevia.
If you have a busy life it's a quick thing to whip up and very good.
