Day 51: Time Change

Friday, October 12, 2012

Sixteen hours of travel today. Three flights. One side of the country to the other. Three time zones. It never ceases to amaze me that we are about to get inside a vehicle that carries us through the sky to distant locales. The long trip really kicked my butt in terms of my body. Lots of running to bathrooms, trying to eat healthy, trying to catch up on sleep. Tonight I'm in a stinky hotel and then another drive tomorrow to another location. Then Sunday another two flights to the next set of locations. I hope I can keep up with the physical demands of this schedule.

The great news about the time change is that even though it is almost 1:30AM where I currently am, I am cashing in on the fact that both my body and my Spark account are set to Pacific time, so it's still Thursday! Just enough time to sneak in a blog post before I pass out.

Thanks for all the support and words of encouragement, friends. You guys have really been keeping me going...

I totally understand the three time zones travel, isn't it something how fast we can move from one side to the other eh. I hope the trip turns out to go well, that your gut settles down and you return home with renewed energy. I'll be thinking lots about you.

PS - I likely won't have internet access again until Sunday night, but I'm going to try to write a post offline each day to put up when I am back online. Wish me luck!
