Success on the scale this morning and I am still feeling great with my new diet and exercise program. I didn't wake up early enough to exercise (but I MADE time to pack my lunch). So, I am hoping to do some physical activity once I get home tonight. I think it is more difficult, because at the end of the day I just want to relax, but if I could do at least 10 minutes I will be set. Easy.
I bought a juicer on Amazon today. I am excited to try some juices to supplement to diet. I watched Fat, Sick, and Nearly dead this week and I was truly inspired by the documentary. I am not planning on fasting, because I do think it is beneficial to still eat fruits and veggies because of the roughage. Also, I don't want to wast the pulp so I am looking for some ways to utilize that. I am so excited to try some new ways to get veggies I don't typically like or eat much of. Plus, I am excited to try juice with ginger and with some spice to it.
I am finishing the chicken and cottage cheese in my fridge and after that I am planning on trying a vegan-type diet. As little meat and dairy as possible. I am considering setting a short-term goal to see how I like it. Maybe start with a week?
Finally, my self-esteem is significantly higher since I have started cutting back on processed foods, alcohol, and meat & cheese. I exercise and eat tons of veggies. I feel like I have control. I can make changes and see results. I have lost a little weight (maybe 3 pounds) but I feel way more comfortable in my body. My only fear is that this inspiration won't stay. My dedication to health comes and goes with time, but I really would like to stay inspired.
