Day 6

Thursday, October 11, 2012

This is my weekend, so today is like Saturday, the day my DH and I go out and do errand shopping. Stores here are only open till around 12:15 then everything, I mean EVERYTHING closes for the muslim prayer time and most things don't open back up until 4 or 5PM. We went to Ikea today, we have a huge Ikea here that has breakfast in the mornings. It was MOBBED this morning and it was like a riot when the place opened, pushing and shoving, running up the stairs to get a table and a place in line. The locals are CRAZY people!
Anyway, we walked through Ikea, up stairs then downstairs 2 or 3 times then walking the floor at a moderate pace. Then we went to the grocery store where because it was close to prayer time I walked at a faster pace to get things done. that is all the exercise I did today.
Tomorrow is early morning grocery shopping before the stores get crowded.

I went to an Ikea store many years ago and bought a basket that I still have. We don't have one in our area as this is a small town. We have a Sears, KMart and Walmart for major shopping plus the Outlet Stores just off the freeway.

It sounds like a sale day at Macy's.

I have never been in an ikea store. Are there any in our neck of the woods. I think we can shop online so I will give it a google.

We were both adjusted today this has been a medical week. HUGS Enjoy your time together, HUGS Pat inMaine.

It's always fun to stretch your legs and shop at the same time.
