Overworking it!

I have been so excited to have my legs back that I have been trying to keep moving almost all day - kind of taking advantage of it before anything else can happen.

So I have been walking around the house and trying a bunch of new exercises and new workout videos. And i can NOW report that I am exhausted! Finally exhausted from my workouts. Thank you!!!

However, today I am going to take a break from walking because my back is killing me. And I really, really want to walk outside, but made that promise. So I open the windows and breathe in the fresh air with the tiniest hint of cool weather on the breeze. It's gorgeous. Last night we sat outside in the cool air and just enjoyed the stars, as it was a clear sky. It's been so overcast lately that the stars have been MIA.

Well, I need to go get off my butt and get my exercising in today so I am not still trying to finish it at 8 pm tonight. It takes longer to do what I usually do as I need to rest my back and leg for a bit, but hopefully that will go away soon and I will start feeling better. If it doesn't get better then I am dropping out of the Trick or Treat Trot 5k. Don't want to push it too soon, and they have virtual races every week, so I can always do another one when I am in better shape.

Thanks for all your good wishes and wonderful support. I am trying to make us all proud!

    So happy that you're able to do exercise once again with both legs! emoticon Go get 'em, Tiger!! emoticon Just don't over-do as you so well are finding out. You'll find out just what you can do to get the job done, without hurting yourself. No we don't want our Angela hurting herself anymore! That's a no-no! emoticon emoticon

    Excellent for you!!!
    Resting when you need to and building that leg strength back up. And your back will readjust as you are no longer hobbling around with the cast on.
    Do as much as you can, you know your limits (sometimes)... just remember your ankle is like new and needs to be trained again. emoticon
    If you look up and to the left of the moon, if it's not overcast again tonight, you can see Venus... just something to check on. emoticon emoticon
