OCTOBER GOALS (FINALLY AND SORT OF)

So these are my kind of goals for October. It's already late and with a 9 days of vacation I just didn't want to set myself up to fail. I know I'll run or walk when I'm gone but the mileage tracking will be limited so I had to figure out some other way this month.
For OCTOBER I WANT TO:
1. DRINK MY WATER- I'm slowly getting back to drinking too much diet soda. I feel better with water.
2. CUT TIME OFF MY MILE-I have run a sub 12 minute mile multiple times, but it's not consistent and I can't seem to do it on the treadmill (I really think the treadmill is fast). I started working on this today by running an interval run. See below.

The original interval stops at 20 minutes but today was supposed to be my 3 miler (especially after 2 days off) so I added to it. I will continue looking for different intervals to run each time I run on the treadmill.
3. MAINTAIN DURING VACATION-I'll do a weigh in on Friday before I leave. Ideally I'd like to stay where I am 131/132, but as long as I come back at my actual maintenance weight of 135 I'll consider it a success.
That's it. Short month and my time is limited and crazy.
Number 3 is going to be the hardest. Four days with my partner's sister and family and then on to the beach for 4 days before leaving for home. There will be A LOT Of eating out. I'll do my best and hope for less than 135.
I feel tremendously better today since I got my run in. I have been uber cranky for 2 days. I had NO idea running had the hold on me that it does. I feel as though I NEED it. I had a horrible day yesterday with allergies all day at work, then we painted at my old house (that we are trying to get presentable to rent or sell). My eyes watered all day and all evening and I SO wanted to run for just 15 minutes last night and I just couldn't.
So, I feel back on track. And I know that skipping runs is a bad idea. One day maybe...but not 2 in a row. It's just ugly!
