Grrrr.... who stole time.

Thursday, October 11, 2012

Grrr i thik that there must be a little imp that borrows all my spare time , and all my good intentions of keeping my bog and spark things up to date goes out of the window. ( seriously i am beginning to notice a serious time default of managment within myslef here. )
Yesterday was a big boot up the backside for me in that i have now got to monitor my food even more closely because my sugar level has gone up......... emoticon i am a little gutted because i thought that i have been doing well with the whole carbs and sugary thing, as my other half is diabetic and i cook for him, ( he has the odd larger or two.........and i dont) so i thought that, as he is under control my sugar would be down as well....
Well WRONG... its up again, and i cant see what i have been doing. For this week i am seriously going to look at everything in minute detail and see what other areas i am missing to cause this...........
On a good note i have lost another pound..doesnt seem much , but in reality it is especially if you go to a supermarket and hold a pound of lard...( i use lard because thats what i say to my mind i am destroying when my walking hurts and i want to give up........i imagine every step i take is my burning my fat away...)
So to help me with my new quest i have joined the diabetic team challenge and plan on actually finishing this one... when i have done it i may relook at the sweet tooth challenge and start giving my soul the home it deserves instead of just squatting in a low maintained fatbunker.
have fun and stay positive and smiling.............i plan to and on the days i cant i plan to give myself a grin in the mirror ad wear it cos we all look better with smiles...........

congrats on your weight loss. each pound is a hurdle that you made it over.
Now as for your blood sugar, sometimes our emotions, stress or illness can cause an elevation in your blood glucose. you are doing the right thing by watching what you eat and writing it down. keep up the good work
