I don't understand why, the minute I start to eat healthy foods, my mind starts craving junk and I eat everything in sight! I make goals and only stick with them for a day or two and then I binge on junk!
Perhaps you are shorting yourself on some essential nutrient or overall calories when you eat healthy? Are you tracking using the Spark nutrition tracker?
I thought I ate so healthfully, then when I saw that I was eating twice the recommended grams of fat, I saw where to cut. Oh, it was all healthy fat: flax oil, tahini, almond butter, olive oil, just way too high as a % of my calories. When I dropped the fat to the right level, not only did some of my cravings drop away, I also felt fuller and lost weight.
Is there a way you could not have junk foods in the house? Or maybe lock them up. :) Luckily my mom is trying to eat healthier also, so we just don't buy junk food. Or if we do buy it for my dad, he keeps it in his room so we are not as tempted to eat them. It has worked so far on this end. But, the fact that you are aware that you have a problem is the first step. Just take one day at a time!
