As many of you know I have severe asthma and lung problems so often I am unable to go outside . There is a blessing in this because I turn more often to God to be my strength . I have a wonderful comfortable chair near a sunny window which I often sit and read or watch the world go by. I love the feel of the sun on my face, feeling God is touching me with His loving hands. I watch the sky seeing planes flying by praying for the people in that plane that they remain safe, healthy and grow in God's love. Seeing children come off the school bus praying that they not only learn well their lessons but learn to know God more fully and follow Him. To see squirrels running around gathering nuts getting ready for the winter. Seeing the leaves change. There are so many ways we can thank our precious Lord for all the many blessings He has given each of us. Even in trials there are lessons to be learned. We grow from them, they make us stronger if we turn them over to God asking for His help through them. May God richly bless you all. He loves each of us beyond measure.

I have a disease called Microscopic Colitis. So I have been house bound too.

Yet at times one gets discouraged but then being a christian we only have to turn to him and he shows us all about as we look out our windows. What he has created for us who believe.

He is there the Lord in his Heavenly sky, birds, little birds, deers is what I have out my window.
To help me forget about me. Take notice he is my Heavenly Father.

It is pretty marvelous and then our troubles become a bit smaller.

I came across you from another blogger. You never can have enough sweet friends can you . I plan to add you.

Pat: Your spirit is inspiring. Makes my frustrations seem so inconsequential. Thanks for helping me see things in perspective and for setting such a wonderful example.

You know Pat that I live with COPD and Asthma. My parents were both 4-pack/day smokers. I have never had a cigarette. With the second hand smoke and the smog of living in California in my youth, my lungs are a mess. I still go out. It's harder some days then others. I live in a cleaner air environment now. Southern Oregon is full of trees and the smog is minimal. I also live on Oxygen therapy and use CPAP to sleep or recline. I refuse to let my breathing stop me, but I didn't let a broken neck and back stop me either. My doctors think I am nuts because I keep walking (I have a wheel chair I am suppose to use). I will exercise and lose weight inspite of all I have wrong. Keep on praying for others but it is ok to ask for something for yourself. Be blessed.
