Day 16...

What a busy day! I had to take my dog to the vet... he has a UTI. Poor pup. Unfortunately, it's an hour ride to the vet's office, so that was my whole morning. I grabbed a banana on the way out the door and hit the ground running. I came back home and I had a hamburger patty, some chips, onion dip and some baked beans for lunch, and then it was back out the door for a pre-op physical at my doctor's office. Fortunately, he's only about 20 minutes away. After the doctor visit, my hubby and I did the banking that we couldn't do on Monday and then came back home and I worked on my homework for a while. We just kind of relaxed together. We had a meeting to go to in the evening and then we visited my parents for a bit. Back home, the evening was growing late. I made fresh corn chowder for supper and then we hit the rack. So it was a pretty busy day, but we made it through.

Still no exercise, but I am desperately hoping to report some tomorrow. It's one of those things that just has to be done... Wish me luck!!

Peace and love to all,
Lisa

This is my little sick pup, Dozer....

    Oh, Dozer is a cutie!

Try getting up 15 minutes earlier than you normally would and taking a walk around your neighborhood. I walk my dog around the block every morning at 5:25 To get my exercise in and I feel better for doing it! Sometimes I can also take a 30 minute walk on my lunch hour. I keep my walking shoes in my office so I can change into them and then I just walk around downtown Dallas for 30 minutes. It's nice to get out and get away from my desk!

Keep sparkin'! emoticon

Sounds like a busy day for you! I recommend yoga as a nice, short workout if you don't really have time for a longer one. It stretches you out and energizes you. I find it helps me manage stress better too.
Good luck with everything :)
