I'm in all out fundraising mode. I've been busting my backside getting things done, and hanging out at the studio every night handing out fundraising material to the other dance moms.

Some of them are rude about it. Some of them act like I am crazy. Some of them are psyched. I can't make everyone happy. Bottom line is the studio is offering a way to help afford classes (and costumes... and competitions... and recitals). Not everyone wants to play, but those that do, can gain a lot of money making opportunities.

I haven't sewn anymore. I will be sewing tonight with my sewing friend for a little while.

I have been so tired. I am not kidding. I was in bed at 8:30 last night, and fell asleep before my 7 year old.

Today I have a meeting with the elementary school that V and DQ go to. Trying to get together on a care plan for my sweet V. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the day therapy program for V. The psych is going to do an evaluation on her, and let us know if she may be accepted to the plan or not, then before too long... we will have her in the day therapy program, and hopefully be getting her the help she desperately needs.

I haven't been getting fitness in. I have honestly been so busy that my eating hasn't been all that great either. I haven't been to the grocery in a week. I can never remember to fill up my water jug and drink water. I am trying to get things on track. I really am - but these kids have taken precedence right now, and I'm hanging out on the back burner.

    Just keep juggling and count yourself as having done ONE thing good for yourself! You SLEPT! Start there... you're gonna need the rest to get everything done you've got going on... hopefully soon you'll have less stress as V can be getting the help she needs and you can concentrate on your health more again! emoticon

    I like Russell's idea of freezing the bottles I used to fill them half full and freeze them then my water would stay cold longer. I know its hard to find the balance and we tend to put our families needs before our own, I found that if I exercise I'm not as stressed and I have more energy to get things done so even if you can find 20-30 minutes to exercise you will feel better. Its so hard to find what works for you family I wish you luck in figuring it out. emoticon

    Freeze some 20 oz bottles overnight, and then drink them as they melt. Take a few to work, and put the rest in the fridge, so when you get home there are some more, that are melted mostly, but still have some ice to cool the water.

If you can't do the exercise thing, make sure your nutrition is amazing. Make playing with the kids your exercise, when possible, but if you get the nutrition right, you can lose while not exercising.

Part of doing things for your kids is being around to see them progress. By focusing on your health, you are still making choices that will benefit them, especially emotionally. I never met any of my grandmothers, and I think my Mom would have liked to share that with her mother. Life isn't about what is good for you, and then what is good for your kids.. it is about what is good for your family, and an unhealthy Mom isn't part of that equation. Be healthy for them too.

I would cut out the exercise if time is limited, but be stricter on diet.
