Baby steps - Baby steps. I want to jump right back into exercise but my body is rebeling. I tried walking 3 miles like I did last year but it was too much for my ankle. Walking on the treadmill now and working back up to as far as I can.
Tried out my 30-day shred video - Oh My! Didn't make it through the warm up. So sad. Got up early this a.m. and put in a 1 mile walking video and boy do I feel good! Withn a few days will move it up to the 2 mile section and so on.
THe 50s's are not going to get me! I guess it's true that if you don't use it you lose it. Well, I may have lost it, but I bet I can find it again, lol.
I don't like the feeling of being winded walking up the stairs, going to work on that so I can run up the stairs. This is my mini exercise burst during the day, since I am tied to my desk most of the day. I am hoping this winter is a change for the good for my body and not a chance to hibernate. I don't like the cold so unless the sun is shining I will not be outside for exercise unless I have to. Better not let the hubby hear I want to get some exercise in, or he will have me out helping to cut wood. Yikes.
I think for me momentum will be the key to keep moving ahead and forgive myself for the bumps in the road - even if I have to crawl.
