Review of a book recently read.

Picking Cotton by: Jennifer Thompson-Cannino and Ronald Cotton
Based on the true events of a rape trial and the effects of DNA testing. I read this in about 5 hours. So good. I was sucked in, loved the pics, and loved how the story ends.
This book was a must read for the students of one of the Universities in the area. Our media specialist recommended it to me and I was quite pleased.
Normally I don't enjoy reading books on this topic, but this focused more on the fact that Ronald Cotton knew he was innocent and how he fought to get out of prison.

Your turn. Review a book you recently read:)

I'm currently reading Cyndi Lauper's memoir, love it!

Testimony. Anita Shreve. About a sexual assault. We hear from and about all those involved, what happens in the wider environment, the consequences and wider repercussions. A thoughtful examination of all the issues, well worth the read.

I'm not sure about picking up this challenge as I need to focus more on health and wellness issues on Sparkpeople, but maybe I'll drop in now & then?
