Thought from quote by SparkGuy Day 13

Life is the sum of our decisions and actions; results appear where we place our energies"
This is my focused thought for today and hopefully everyday for the rest of my life. All the results I have whether good or bad are a result of every decision an action I have made in my life and what I have invested my life energies into. That is not the answer to why I am at this weight today. I have been guilty like many others of wanting to see immediate results or quick fixes that give minimum or temporary at least for this major problem in my life. The crazy thing is I can see how it has been that way throughout other areas of my life such as finances and even relationships not to mention careers. That is why I find this program so exceptional for a weight-loss program. There are many that say they are going to deal with the emotional reason we are eating yet never even get close to the main problem. I like how this program gets us to invest our energies into it so that we can begin to look down into that place that we have covered up and kept back from the world. The look at me and see a fat person so the key is to get her to be a thin person. But that is not the key at all. It is about dealing with the internal workings that cause us to waste our energies in the wrong places with the wrong things never getting a chance to fulfill our true dream which may or may not be to be a thin but a healthy, strong, and confident individual, able to focus their energies our their inner most dreams. If you haven't gotten the book "The Spark" I truly recommend it.

I agree. I don't even think of this as a diet program; I think of it as a healthy way of life. The weight lost is great, but in some ways incidental to the getting healthier and fitter. Every day I might not lose weight, but every day I can work on my health, my fitness, and my outlook on life!
