A couple months ago i was perusing the vacation rental by owner ads for a house on the water. Ron and myself along with my mom step-dad and little sis were going to go fishing. It was a great weekend btw. I got a little distracted and started looking at the NYC rentals, and on my rabbit trail found some really cheap flights... So we booked it! We're going to NY dec 5th - 8th and i'm sooooooooo excited. This will be mine and Ron's first real vacation together (aside from the honeymoon) and i just LOVE new york. The thing is, you can't get everything done you want to do unless you hustle, and in NY that means a LOT of walking.
I'm in terrible shape, worst of my life. As previously posted, marriage got the best of me. But Ron and I have been riding bikes and I've been trying to track my food. My goal is to lose 2 lb a week every week until NY. We both really need to start walking more if we plan on getting around the city efficiently, but i'm thinking taking 16lbs off my small frame will probably do wonders for my heart and bones. Reasonable goals, that's the key. I can attain reasonable goals, i'm sure of it.
