I am feeling very healthy and on top of this whole lifestyle change. I spent a Thanksgiving weekend eating very well, leaving the unhealthy treats on the plate, indulging in a tiny piece of pumpkin pie, having a lovely turkey dinner, but skipping the mashed taters and gravy. I felt happy with my healthy choices and fully satisfied with the special meal.
I walked 4 miles in very high gear each day while away and completed the C25K run when I came home yesterday.
Each time I put clothes on they fell a litlle looser. I finally weighed and am down 20 pounds---the truth is it could be more or less, but I think more, I did not weigh myself right at the beginning and it was actually about 6 months ago and I pretty sure my weight was higher than I had put as my start weight. I truly hate the scale and will probably not weigh again for a couple of months...my indicator are more how much energy I have and how my cloths are fitting.
