Oct. 9th 2012 My Pantry

Tuesday, October 09, 2012

Good Morning All....
Woke up to 37 degrees outside !!!! Yikes !!!!
My hanging plants are all withered so today is ripping out the rest of the gardens, grinding leaves and mulching the gardens with them.
Hubby got a new toy at a yard sale this summer. It's a lawn vac that sucks up the leaves and grinds them. AWESOME !!!! It's huge so it's his job to run it and mine to load the J.D. Gator and take them to the gardens and dump and cover...
I still have pears left so it's time to can more. The last batch (which was my first ever) turned out so yummy.
Wood is already in for our livingroom fireplace and the outdoor wood burner (that heats our house) is almost full. Winter...Bring It On !!!!!
For some reason, I don't remember it being So Cold So Soon !!!!
Am I getting Old or What ????

As we had talked about, Here is My Pantry.
As you all know, I can Pickles, Pepper Mustards and Pepper Rings to Sell at Beck's Farm.
Here is a picture of my little area where I sell my Canned Goods. I'm the second area. I don't make the jams and jellies.

These are my Sellable Canned Goods (My Inventory) plus 12 more cases on the floor !!!
I'm ready for next year as peppers and pickles don't come in til late July, Early August.
The Farmers Market opens in May.

Here is My Pantry for Family use.
Pasta Sauce, Tomato Juice, Diced Tomatoes, BBQ Sauce, Jams, Pickles, Salsas, Pears etc.

This is Our Maple Syrup that we make in the Spring ! YUM !!!!! Quarts on top and Half Gallons on the bottom...

Notice the different colors of syrup on the top shelf. The earlier syrup is lighter and the later syrup is darker.

Well, there you have it ! My Pantry/Pantries...
Thank You All for Looking and Have yourselves a Wonderful Day !

Wow great job! I don't have the patience and perhaps not the learning for this, and can certainly appreciate your hard work.

seeing your pantries reminds me of sections in both my grandmothers basements where they stored the goods they canned from fruit trees around the houses to stuff from the gardens. Thanks for bring back happy memories!

PATTI, what a beautiful job you have done to store so much labour of love. My closet pantry is full of cans but not by my own hands alas, I used to but not now. I do read labels so we can still manage to stay with whole foods, I do believe though that home made is much better. HUGS Pat in emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Maine.

Wow! Looks wonderful! You have been a very busy lady! I would love to have your pantry space. I have cases of my canned good stuck in closets all over the house. I filled a cabinet reserved for them first. Our house in Missouri had a walk in pantry that I wish I could have moved with us.

Wow, you do have some extensive pantries. Sure love the looks of all the yummy Maple Syrup.... It is so expensive to buy in the stores..... and probably not nearly as tastey.....
