mostly cutting my carbs! Simple as that.
I know that FOR ME, too many carbs = fatso jenny so what i am doing is cutting out most of my carbs. Most not completely all. I will have a 1/2 cup of rice or one slice of wheat bread but not much more than that. Also i know not all carbs are the same..some are more important to avoid like white bread, bagels, pastries.
I've also cut out sugar. Mostly in my coffee and I try not to have sweets or if i do just one piece. Desserts i'll have mainly on weekends and share with someone.
I am very happy that these changes are coming to me very naturally and not at all like i'm depriving myself. Of course my cravings are waaay less and fewer than they were at first.
I just know that for the rest of my life I can't keep eating carbs and sugar the way i used to and satisfy my sweet tooth whenever the craving hit. And you know what, IT AINT THAT HARD!
At first i was very strict and cut off all carbs and sugar. I had lots of success losing very fast but I know that carbs are important and you need some everyday so i decided to add some and i still have been doing very well. So i am encouraged to keep at it.
Now i eat more veggies, drink more water and am eating much healthier.
