Kick the Cupcakes...

Tuesday, October 09, 2012

I kicked those cupcakes' collective butt and didn't add them to mine!! I was surrounded ALL DAY yesterday (work and home) with homemade funfetti awesomely delicious cupcakes and I did NOT eat a single one. At one point I was sitting at the island between my husband and daughter and they were both eating one. And for good measure I didn't eat any of the homemade peanut butter fudge either ;) - I did snarfed down a serving of marshmallow fluff (I had 40 calories left to my goal for the day and I really really wanted SOMETHING sweet). The challenges today - we still have peanut butter fudge, and the vending machine (I have cash in my pocket)...

Ah...frosting, what is not to love about frosting? I have to make MORE cupcakes this weekend for my daughter's birthday - the leftover frosting will have to go directly to the trash can. And my post didn't mention that I had about four cupcakes before yesterday LOL, just trying to stop the bleeding on that front! emoticon

I'm in awe of you! I am still trying to get my mind set that I can live without all those sweets and here you are - proving that it can be done! I could probably leave the cupcakes, but the frosting.... well that is a different story. The fudge I could leave and the vending machine no problem. Keep up the great work, together we can do this emoticon
