A while ago I started doing Insanity, but I hate it. I know that it's definitely a high intensity workout and it burns calories like crazy, but I still hate it. I hate the stretching that Shaun T makes you do. I hate that he wants you to do these crazy push ups (I can't do push ups to save my life) and how there seems to be a crazy amount of time dedicated to crazy push ups. Insanity is crazy and not something that I can complete in my current physical state. It's sad, because I was really hoping to complete a round of Insanity, but I will make that a goal for later. Because I can't complete Insanity, I compromised. I bought 30 Day Shred today. I haven't done it yet, but the workouts are short and I can probably go for a run afterwards. I love running, but I still get crazy shin splints regardless of what I do and I need to find something to fill in the gap on my bad run days. Hopefully all goes well with that.
I also went grocery shopping today, I bit the bullet and decided to buy protein powder. I made protein balls that taste like a healthy, vegan version of Almond Joy. It is delicious. Today I made the mistake of forgetting to eat before grocery shopping. I didn't make stupid purchases (thank heavens) but I did come home and, no matter how hard I tried, healthy food didn't seem appealing. I'm still under my calorie range for the day, though, so tomorrow will be better. I'm making a menu plan tomorrow, packaging my snacks for the day, and sticking to the plan, regardless of how hungry I feel! With the exception of fruit, that is.
My goals for this week are:
Plan my meals for the day, and stick to the plan
Get at least 30 minutes of exercise in each day
Fall asleep before 11, and get 8 hours of sleep
Go for at least 3 morning jogs
Stop weighing myself every single day
I figure I've been doing this wrong, I've made big goals but never small goals. BUT, I do have an amazing goal that I will succeed at, for the shoes.

I only have 18 pounds to lose before I can actually start wearing them. And by wearing them, I mean learning to walk in them. They are the shoes that I plan on wearing to my partner's homecoming in March! I am in love with them!!!!!
This blog is really just a venting/random/bored kind of blog. I think that I actually might like SparkPeople more than I do my Facebook! Haha.
Today someone at work came up to me and told me that I'm starting to look a lot smaller, this is awesome! People tell me I look smaller all the time, but this was someone who barely knows me! I also had an amazing moment last night when I realized that once I lose two more inches in my band size, I can (and do plan to) buy a bra from Victoria's Secret! I cannot wait! Oh, and today I squeezed into the size 16 shorts I bought a few weeks ago. They are tight, but I can still wear them! Today as just been a fantastic day overall, as far as weight loss is concerned.
Tomorrow I plan on posting my measurements before starting 30 Day Shred. :) I'm a lot bloated right now, my tummy hurts!
