I've been trying to start over, get back on track. I haven't been having much luck with picking up where I left off. So I'm going back to the beginning...
Keeping Myself Accountable
Accountability, answerability, responsibility, blameworthiness...wait a minute that last word doesnít sound like the others! One of these things doesnít belong here; one of these things isnít the same. Iím responsible for my actions and Iím answerable to myself when it comes to exercise but instead of placing blame Iíd much rather gain understanding. Why when I know what needs to be done donít I do it? I asked myself just this the other night and it came to me...I was forgetting the frog, that cute little boiled frog! My daily habits are so ingrained in me that Iím going to have to reach deep down to pull that frog out of the tepid water. So for the next three weeks this will be my ongoing blog of accountability.
10/08/12 - 30 minute walk (with my dog) (tomorrow I will remember to wear my PED watch)
11/01/12 - I haven't been able to keep track here as planned but I did wear my PED watch and walked over 10,000 steps on most days. I'm going to continue with that plus ad workouts at Curves. Down 4 lbs in three weeks...not quite the preferable two pounds a week but I'm happy to be going in the direction of my goal.
