I left the tandoori chicken at the dog park yesterday after the potluck. I asked DS13 to bring it, but I guess he didn't hear me. So someone else picked it up and told me on facebook.
I do a easier version of this, mixing dry tandoori spice with 0% Greek yogurt, until it's a nice pink, then putting bite size pieces of chicken breast in to marinade overnight. Skewer the chicken and grill until done. The marinade makes it very tender.
Yes, I know it's not officially kosher, but I've done extensive research and found that chickens don't give milk, so I feel quite alright with eating them together.
I was planning on getting my 60 min cardio with Turbokick at 4, but then remembered my dental apt at 4:30, so I'll be flexible & go to Zumba at 6 instead.
A friend at work asked me to go to a beer tasting with her. And although I would like to do more socializing, I really don't like beer much and besides, I'm avoiding alcohol because it interferes with my weight loss. I know that other people may be able to have alcohol & still lose weight, but I can't. So, like she's telling me that if I want friends, I have to meet people halfway. But, I don't want to compromise on this. sorry.
