Getting Ready to Travel

I have been relatively good with my diet and trying to get in the walking. Today again it is drizzly but I will be going out and will add .25 miles to my distance. My goal is to add .25 every fourth walk.

I know when I'm in NC visiting my Mum I'll get a lot more walk (in the mountains) in but I'm not sure how the diet will go. Mum likes to feed me and it's not always the most healthy of foods. But at 77 I'm not going to make our visit about arguing about what I should and should not eat. There are more important things in life and quality time with my Mum is one that I just will not sacrifice so I won't mention diet and will just eat less of what she wants to feed me. That she will not notice.

Today is a holiday and I'm taking full advantage; walking, reading and playing some computer games. I'm also preparing my meals for the remainder of the week so I have everything ready and only have to reheat.

Today is going to be a GOOD day.
