After a couple of years of working with my plan trying to balance healthy eating and exercise, tweaking it when things weren't going well. I did reach my goal. Now I am again back to trying to balance healthy eating and exercise on a different level. Sometimes it gets frustrating with numbers going up and down, but I know these are like growing pains. Each "pain" needs to be addressed and tweaked as I go along.
These past couple of weeks I have come to the conclusion that what I need to do is "own my plan", embrace it as this journey continues. No two people are alike; what works for one may not work for another. I need to strive to do my best and look for what will work for me on my plan.
One thing I know for certain is that when I am over whelmed I just go back to the basics: healthier eating, exercise and water! I can go back to weighing & measuring (which I do 80% of the time). I can go back to 20 minutes of exercise every day (for consistency). I can go back to tracking everything (especially my water).
No matter where YOU are with your plan try to own it....make it you own. Find what works for you. We need to keep moving forward on this journey and together we will.
