Come on Scale !!

It's been 11 days with no weight loss. I watch my calories and stay between 1200-1300. I'm striving to eat the right amounts of each thing.....I hope it begins to come off. I did Weight Watchers a few years ago. Kept my points at 18 every day, and worked out in the gym, aerobics, yoga and weight lifting, 5-6 days a week. I went 6 weeks with no weight loss. I finally started the Zone diet, and it began to come off. This time I have tried to do the Zone, but I just got so tired of eating that way. I just couldn't stay on it.

Exercising for me this time is much harder. I have muscle and joint pain all over my body. I've tried to find gentle exercises because I usually end up in more pain afterwards. I'll keep on, and if nothing else maybe it will keep me from getting too stiff !

It was a tough weekend. I had pain in every joint. It was difficult to walk, pick things up, raise my arms, ect. Thankfully, today I am feeling better ! Yay ! Maybe I can begin to attack the housework and laundry that has piled up, or at least wash my hair and dry it ! Yeah, little things make me happy !

Well, onto another day. Off to do a little exercising. It's good to be feeling better than I did over the weekend. Happy Monday !

I also wanted to add that I did not lose a single pound until I had been eating right and exercising for 3 weeks. Then I had a 7-pound drop. Just kind of all of a sudden my body decided that is was going to work with me rather than against me. Maybe my body is stubborn, but don't get discouraged if it takes a while.

Are you drinking tons of water and no sodas?

Anyway, I call it "culture shock to the fat cells". They are freaking out and doing every thing they can to NOT get evicted from your backside. Once you finally start seeing it, it will be slow and gradual... 1 to 2 pounds per week.

Keep your chin up. I promise it will happen!

I don't know if you have a diagnosis for your pain, but I do hope you're seeing a doctor for it. This much constant ache seems to me that it might need medical attention.

At any rate, I wish you the very best of success in your everyday activities and in finding the exercises that work best for you.

I hope that you keep feeling better! You deserve alot of hugs.... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Hopefully you can have alot of better days ahead. I know just what you mean about pain and it is hard to exercise. I have a recumbent bike that really helps me, but it seems that I'm out of energy today to get on it. It's been such a busy last 5 days or so. Have an excellent week!

Working out the kinks is the worst feeling every morning. It usually takes me about 2 hours to be able to climb out of bed. I spend my time gently unfolding all the tightened muscles, and then I start rubbing my joints so I can get full use of my arms and legs.

So I understand where you are coming from. And since I have been walking in my cast for the past 2 weeks, I have become overconfident in my step. When the cast came off and I put my shoe on in the doc's office, I was immediately reminded that I was tender and that the sprained ankle hasn't yet healed because it's been locked in one position for 3 months. Now I need to slow down and go easy all over again!

Hope it gets better for you very soon!

Pain really sucks and sometimes it is so hard to work through it. Try to find a few things that are really mild and won't be so painful as any movement is good movement and then take advantage of those days when you feel better to push it a bit. Hope the pain gets better soon and lots of luck!
