Doin' Better

Sunday, October 07, 2012

Dear SP Friends:

My belly seems to be doing a little better. The new medication keeps it from burning like a wildfire. So, I'm eating more properly and my FBS is more in tune with what it should be. That thrills me beyond words.

This prescription isn't something I can stay on long term, but I can for the time being. Kudos to my tummy doc. I can't seem to be able to convince my Cpap doc that the pressure needs to be turned down, but I'll keep working on it and struggle with it until I can figure out how to turn it down myself.

I appreciate all the encouragement and concern you SP pals have given me over the last month or so. I couldn't have made it without you all. Bless you. I almost feel like a new woman.

Hugs to all,
Renie

So glad you are feeling better, that is great news. Keep at that CPAP, is there someone who you could ask, a technician, or who set it up for you? Its terrible that something that should be helping you is hurting you instead :((

So happy to hear that you are feeling better. I agree with everyone else...keep after your CPAP doc and don't be afraid to remind him that there are other docs out there that do what he does.

So happy for you!!!! Keep after your respiratory doc to get that cpap lowered just to see if it helps! What's to be lost . . . if it doesn't work, back to the drawing board!

HUGS sweetie. And prayers, of course, continue for your precious Dax and granddaughter. emoticon

Glad the meds are working for your tummy. Sometimes a person wants to throw things at the Docs that don't listen! Can you look up on the internet on how to turn down the Cpap? If only a little bit?

Hope you had a good weekend.
