if you've been following my status updates, you know i haven't been completely lax about keeping y'all posted on how i'm doing. but i thought i'd post a quick thing here because it's been a long time.
so i've been passively watching my sodium for about a month now. for the past 2 weeks the scale has shown that i've gained some weight, even though my calories are pretty much in order (give or take a day). so i'm assuming it's water weight from either not drinking enough water or eating way too much salt, or both.
so i tried to watch my sodium a bit more closely than before. but all this past week i've gone over my allotted amount. so then i worry about it, and i end up eating more. add this to the fact that i have an exam on wednesday, and the usual pattern of eating random things that i wouldn't normally eat at hours when i wouldn't normally eat them persists.
interestingly enough, it seems like the less i think about sodium, the better off i am. i'm going to stop obsessing about salt and see what happens.
