Running and Victorious!

I had a good, busy day. This morning, got up, had a healthy breakfast, washed dishes, cleaned the living room, went for a walk with my puppy (Mia), and we ended up RUNNING part of the walk. I was so proud of us. Got back and still everyone was sleeping! Just goes to show the difference SP can make in your life.

I wrote up a plan for the day including rewards...coming up with rewards is the hardest for me. I tend to just work and push myself and not take breaks. Hence, the overeating (it's a quick treat). So, today, I recognized that when I became tired and could not push on any more. And I did NOT try to eat my way back into energy. I thought that was a huge victory.

    it seems like as we travel this healthy road, it's easier to see all the little things that added up to the big picture of being overweight. conversely, it's the little choices we make on a continual basis that will rid us of excess poundage and allow us to STAY there! emoticon

    Good for you, coming up with rewards as part of the plan. Yesterday I gave myself the reward of window-shopping through a book store. Surprisingly, not much called my name there, but it was enlightening and calming, and a great reward. emoticon

    great job ! I do the same , it's my main problem too , I tend to over eat in the 24 hours shifts and the next days. and lately the number of the shifts increased , I'm always zombie tired and my control disappears. still working on that emoticon
