"If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail." I have to agree with this Proverbs quote! No truer words have been written when it comes to me. I have more success when I plan my meals. It makes me think ahead rather than just throw something together last minute, which tends to make me eat healthier.
Just planned my fitness around my social calendar and Friday's podiatrist appointment. It's just as important to write my fitness plans into my calendar as anything else. Then I'm less apt to skip the workout. Also, it helps with meal planning if I know what time I'm working out.
Mon. advanced water aerobics class
Tues. walk or stationary bike/ST
Wed. advanced water aerobics class
Fri. bike/ST or water aerobics on my own
Sat. bike/ST or water aerobics on my own, depending on what I do on Fri.
Sun. rest day
My doctor's appointment is Friday morning with a podiatrist. I have bunions on both feet and am developing several hammertoes. I also have a bump on my left achilles area. The only thing that causes pain is the bunion on my left foot, so I'm hoping to have that foot taken care of first. I want to wait to schedule the surgery till the end of November since I have a 3-day trip to Branson planned for mid November, I want to dance at a wedding on Nov. 24, and I have theater tickets on the 27th to see Blue Man Group. After that, I've got nothing on my calendar till Dec. 18 so I should be good to go! I also hope to be able to dance by New Year's Eve! I'll have to ask the doc about that one:) Just have to plan to get my Christmas shopping finished in November.
Now on to meal planning
and watching the Cardinal - Nationals baseball game! GO Redbirds!
