Day 3: NYE Challenge/Sinus Infection

So I slept like 12 hours last night...I think I have a sinus infection. Explains the tiredness (not achy body), sore throat, ear plugged and stuffiness. I forgot to take my sinus meds last week 2 days in a row...See what happens?! LOL!

Here is my breakfast...this is what I typically make when I make breakfast. It's Frozen Potatoes O'brien (plain potatoes with peppers), 1 egg, 2 egg whites, 1 serving Canadian Bacon, asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, and a little parmesan on top. Yum!


I did stop and get my OJ...feeling a little better!


Went to the Abbott Kinney Street Festival today and got so many cute things! Got a gorgeous necklace for my grandma for Christmas, got myself 2 necklaces (a brain and a Dopamine necklace that is the carbon make up for it), a cute overnight bag and 2 gluten free cookies! We walking around for over 5 hours! Wow! I added it as 300 minutes of a 26min mile...equalled just over 900 calories! It was hot too and I was a sweat betty! Lunch, I actually found something GF and not too bad on calories!


To say there were strange people at the Festival is an understatement! But, I love diversity and think that there is a spot for everyone in this world! Including...the magician and his shoulder cat!


They also had lots of tempting things...especially these massive cookies! Of course I couldn't eat them, but don't they look good?! Planet Cookie (that's the brand) is supposed to be amazing...That's okay, I found a gf treat later on down the road!


I found...GF cookies! I had one today and it was good! I had to estimate the calories because they don't have them since they are a little mom & pop type shop. But, finally, a cookie! I am going to make my healthy lifestyle work, that does include occasional treats, as long as I exercise and track it!


For dinner, I am having my favorite Pinterest recipe! It's a low carb sandwich. Meaning, no bread, yay GF! Take one cucumber, peel and seed it. Add your favorite Laughing Cow cheese (I have Garlic & Herb Light), a little Grey Poupon (I added this cause it gave it an added kick!) and top with one serving of deli meat, I usually use Hormel Honey Ham, which is also GF. It is really good and cheap, yet pretty filling!
