It's been a busy week, but I know that I need to keep myself on track here. This week's updates are...
1. Lose ten pounds.
No progress to report this week. I haven't been keeping up with my nutrition journal as I should and it shows. The scale and I are not on speaking terms today.
2. Get 1000 minutes of exercise.
This week I had a showdown with the elliptical trainer at my fitness center. It won a brief five minute battle. My calves were the only casualties to report... they hurt for three days after the workout. The good news is that I'm up to 272 minutes of exercise, which means I'm already 1/4 of the way to my goal.
On the agenda for the coming week: Get back to tracking food every day. Put in at least 90 minutes on the treadmill, have another go at the elliptical (maybe 6 minutes this time?), and check into some strength training exercises. And finally, get the scale moving back in the right direction!
