Okay starting to see the end of my 30 day blog/track/exercise challenge. I must admit I'm slipped up on the exercise the last several days now -- was going to go hiking this morning, but ultimately decided I had way too much to do before meeting some people at noon -- so while I ran around the house like a mad person all morning, I did skip the intentional exercise. Right now I'm so worn out -- so I'm hoping my increased exertion counted for something today.
I've been noticing that my energy level has been getting a bit low these days -- which I think might be due to a lower amount of carbs in my diet than I've typically had in the past. It's odd, but I haven't really tried to lower my carb intake in and of itself, but that's been the result. I think it's working for me, because despite having some crazy days this last week -- I did manage to lose 0.2 pounds (tiny yes I know, but I'll take it), and frankly, I was just happy to not have gained anything. BUT, I think I may be swinging a little too far into the low carb realm, so I need to find a new balance.
Tomorrow morning I shall rise and go hiking bright and early. Stay on track with my nutrition goals for the day tomorrow and get some house work done. Fun fun! =)
