Saturday, October 06, 2012

My sis is here and we are cleaning out the back rooms of mom's house... OMG..... some electronics from the 1980's, and then sorting, cleaning, carrying.... my back is so killing me.... it's 11pm and we're just quitting, I think I need to go have a nice hot bubble bath... hopefully none of these mouse droppings are going to infect any of us..

Happy Thanksgiving...... tomorrow we eat turkey....

Thank you all for your support and ttyl....

Happy Thanksgiving! A tough job, I know. When we cleaned out my mom's house, we found things that probably should have been thrown out in the 1940s - made me swear not to leave the same situation for my daughters. Little progress on that so far, though. :)

Happy thanksgiving to you! My daughter I know was busy cooking and getting ready for dinner. She loves being able to celebrate it twice, since the American Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday of November. My family is just big on getting together on holidays. Sorry you had so much work cleaning up at your Mom's but I'm glad your sister was there to help. I know I have to start helping my mom doing the exact same thing and am dreading it a little bit. Thank goodness she was never much of a keeper of items. I know she just went through a closet and I know that I need to go over a get a couple bags of clothes to take to the Salvation Army for her. It's kinda a win-win for us. She gets rid of the stuff and I get the tax write off for the donation.

Sounds like you are getting some good cardio and getting things cleaned up at the same time. WAY TO GO!!!
Have a happy Thanksgiving as you enjoy your blessings!!!
