weekend update

I did something yesterday that I probably won't do again. It was first Friday of the month Ladies Who Lunch day, and as I haven't quite been reaching my 10K steps daily goal for a week I decided I would walk to the lunch destination (IHOP this month). I ended up (round trip) over 20K steps and two blisters and today aching hips. Today I'm taking it easy, AARP meeting, meeting with my red hat queen (I will have to fill in for her our next meeting because she will be out of the state on a trip), and a little gardening. I plan to catch up on Downton Abbey , I didn't know the new season had started so 3 episodes to watch emoticon , and Gray's Anatomy is back as well as Fringe and Glee and a few others, glad the reruns are over and we have fresh stuff to watch.
I'm enjoying our cooler weather, finally starting to feel like Autmn

    wow, that is enough steps for a couple of days!
Good for you but also good to rest up. I am taking a rest day as well.

    I'm watching Season I of Downton Abbey (on DVD) and I love it. I hope it is a VERY long lived series.
