...if I stay on track and lose 3 pounds in the months of Oct, Nov and Dec I will meet my first goal of 117 lbs. 3 lbs per month seems reasonable. I CAN DO THIS!!! Reminder to self - I won't see progress every week - look to the monthly numbers for progress. MEASURE yourself, that means much more than the number on that scale. 117 pounds is the goal weight chose for me, I choose 110, that's only details, one goal at a time. 117 pounds to start 2013 sounds awesome! At one time I would have thought a goal over the holidays was ridiculous, but now I know there will always be something that will get in the way and I have to will power through them. I can have the treats, just not ALL of them at once. I have to keep in my calorie range and remember my health and well being is much more rewarding than the few minutes of bliss from food. Here I come 2013 - healthy happy me!
