Carbs have taken a bad rap lately with so many people going on diets where they don't eat any. Every time I read that someone is doing that I think back on where I read here on Spark People once that the brain needs carbs to function. But I didn't catch how much.
I know that I am a person who eats way to much carbs in my day. I eat carbs for breakfast, lunch, dinner and my 3 snacks. I know that I eat to much and am going to do some thing about it starting this month. I am going to start by eating chips only once a week instead of three or four times a day. I am going to eat more protein for my snacks and more whole wheat when I do eat carbs.
I am going to eat healthier to improve my health. I am going to read more nutrition articles every day and learn as much as I can and use it to eat better. I have been slacking off lately and only paying attention to how many calories I eat each day but I need to pay attention to other things too. On my daily report I can see what I am lacking and make improvements on what I eat. There is no excuse for me eating unhealthy foods every day. I am trying to make improvements in my life. It is time I made these changes.
