First ever VBlog

Rambled a bit but I think I got across what I was trying to, lol I'm hoping to "see" the results since I still dont have a scale!

    I loved your video! You just inspired me... I might try my hand at making vlogs as well. I've trudged through a period of time where I didn't have a scale as well. Honestly, sometimes the scale can work against you. I eventually got myself a good one, we're still fighting each other -- but go you! Keep up the good work! You're so right when you talk about not depriving yourself, so congrats!

On an off note, I love your nails! :)

    You are so right - it's really important to not deprive yourself of things, especially for special occasions. I just stay aware of my portion sizes and allow myself ONE splurge item rather than eat EVERYTHING - lol - sounds simple but took me awhile to figure it out.

Keep up the good work - even small, baby steps make a world of difference. Workouts are tough in the beginning but they do get better. It's amazing how quickly your body adapts to exercise, as long as you stay consistent.

    You can do this:) It helps when you have supportive people around you and sparkpeople is such a great place to find the support. When I was first starting to excercise I was going walking with my mom at night of course haha (because I didn't want anyone to see me) but especially now since the weather is cooler take the fam for a walk.

    Enjoyed your first Vlog, good job! Stay focused on your fitness and weight management goals. Check out SparkPeople exercise videos, they're short and great routines. Take a walk with your family now and then, every little bit of activity helps. emoticon emoticon
