So far so good my October is going. I mean it's not perfect, but it's some progression!!!
* I tracked my food 5 days this past week.
*I worked out 5 days this past week for 336 minutes and I burned 2682 calories.
*I ate out 1x last week.
Friday I went out with one of my closest friends, she came over when I got off of work. We went to eat Thai and opted to walk the 15-20min there and back, so it balanced out a little. I had Basil Fried Rice with Chicken and Fried Icecream with vanilla icecream. I brought the boyfriend home some dinner and when he was eating, I found myself eating some of his food. But I caught myself and stopped and walked away.
The boyfriend was tempted to eat out on Thursday night so instead we had an at home cheat meal. He got a frozen pizza instead, so it was easier to watch the calories. It wasn't super healthy, but it wasn't takeout!
This week was a MAJOR shopping trip for groceries and stuff for the apartment (cleaning supplies ect.). I don't want to think about the amount of money we spent (in total $400), but to continue to eat at home we will spend more to make sure there is food in the house. Also we are stocking up on stuff. Before when stuff went on sale we would by extra and then we stopped for no reason, but now we are getting back into the habit. It comes in handy when money is tight, to know that there is extra of everything.
Plus I bought the boyfriend a juicer (that's included in the $400 that was spent.) My boyfriend has grown up drinking fresh juice. His mom is from the islands, so he didn't grow up in an American household, even though he was born here and is American. She raised him and his brothers like how she was raised. So they had a lot of fresh homemade things, she rarely bought them juice. So he always made fresh juice and even all these years of us living together. Whenever his mother would make fresh juice, we would go over and get some. So I had little bit of extra money, so I bought him his own. Now with him back in school, on top of a demanding job, he doesn't have time to go over there for some fresh juice. So now we can just make our own!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though we do have a Ninja, and it's CRAZY strong and awesome. You sometimes have to add fresh juice or some type of fruit or veggie with a high water content. It doesn't do well with things that are fibrous because then it's super think. The Ninja if you haven't heard or seen it, is like a super blender. You can blend anything, including apples but it doesn't separate anything, so you get the pulp in the juice. And somethings you just don't want to drink the pulp of, so we will use both. Don't know where it's going to fit in our tiny apartment, but we will make space.
In other news, my goals for this month is simple. Cut back on the takeout. We ate out 9x last month and that's CRAZY! Workout 5x a week and build consistency with tracking my food.
I would like to also thank all of you for your prayers for my goddaughter!! Her brain scan come back good....they didn't find nothing. Sadly she is still NICU. The brian scan is one less thing we have to worry about! I am still going to keep praying for her.
Tomorrow is my weigh in, so we shall see what the damage is tomorrow!
