We had a great time with DD Brandy and her family at dinner last night. We went to Longhorn and I stuck to my plan by eating only half of my steak and baked potato and going very light with seasoning the potato. Brought the other half home and will eat it for dinner tomorrow night.
We brought our grandsons, Caleb and Josh home with us and today we all went to the Cotton Pickin' Fair about 35 miles away. We had such a good time - they had live entertainment (at a fair in Georgia you KNOW they had cloggers and Blue Grass music!) as well as demos of a blacksmith, spinning wheel (with two rabbits on display to show where she got the 'raw material' she was spinning!) and ladies quilting. It was a beautiful fall day and we all had a lovely time.
So here are my goals for October:
ST every day - work one body part a day - at least 90 reps total - yesterday was lower body - I did 100 reps (feeling a little sore - the squats began to hurt my knee so I quit after 10.)
Cardio - at least 60 minutes 6 days a week. Just 72 minutes in shorter than usual morning and evening walks.
Nutrition - continue to increase the fresh vegetables and fruit in my meals while eating less animal products and processed foods. I ate 5 servings of freggies (less than I'm aiming for because of eating out.)
