Fall is my favorite time of year! My muscles relax, I breathe deeply, my mind rests, my heart rejoices! Fall definitely gives me the warm fuzzies!
This is our home:
I found a hidden village park last week... It's down a 2 track dirt "road" back behind the Ranger Station. I've lived here for 14 years... never knew it existed.
There's a path that leads into the woods...
I followed it, it's a short path down to the brook. I went about 1/2 way to the brook where there was a picnic table. I didn't go further this time, but definitely will in the future. I'll also take my camera next time I head down the path.
I did think it was my own private park, but there was a notice Thursday on the shelter that a wedding would be today... So - I'll wait for them to go away again. :-)
We have definitely hit peak color, and the wind yesterday has taken many leaves from the trees. I just hope there's a place a thick layer of leaves still available (not cleaned up or blown away to someone else's yard) so that my grandkids can play in them when the come next weekend! One of our favorite activities!
Here's photos from 2010 (we didn't get to play in the leaves last year). These are my oldest 2 grandchildren, Akyrie and Andrew (then 4 & 2 yrs old)
Happy Autumn my dear friends!
