Yea! I want to spend some time this weekend planning ahead. I want to be sure to have meals planned for the evenings. We are coming home tired and eating way too many carb-laden dinners.
i am a carb junkie. I can't seem to live without them. I have tried Atkins and South Beach. I feel weak and dull. In tracking for about 3 weeks on SparkPeople, I am seeing a pattern - a very familiar one. Most of my days are half carbs. Now, mind you, some are good like bananas and whole grains. But many are not.
Anyway, I want to plan some meals that are higher in protein without using red meat too much. I stocked up on fresh broccoli and cauliflower, both of which I love, to fill in. Lots of greens were brought home like spinach and arugula as well as several lettuces.
So here I go. Trying to corral this carb craving animal!!
