Start Again

There was something that happened when I first joined SP that I have lost. I was able to lose 40 pounds, but that was a long time ago....the last couple of years it was maintaining and most recently gaining. It is time to start again, before I have regained it all. I have much more to lose. How do I find what it was that motivated me when I first started?

    Welcome back! I've had ups and downs too so I feel your pain. I've been continuously active on Spark People over the last four years. I went back to the basics first and started measuring my food. Exercise has never been a problem, except that I seem to do too much of it. (life long issue)

I decided to join WW to hold myself more accountable and for another venue for face to face support. I've lost six pounds since joining so something must finally be working. Remember that this isn't a diet, it is a life long eating plan. We have to change our habits permanently which is hard. Good luck on your journey to health!

    I think the starting and restarting is a process some of us have to go through as a learning tool. I'm here for the third time and like you back to losing what was once lost ,but the lesson has been learned ,finally. Good luck in your journey. emoticon
