So, the week before last I got stuck at 131, sooooo frustrating. I decided just to take a couple of days off, and then get back at it. A few days of calorie counting freedom and the scale (of course) didn't like me, and I thought....this isn't getting me anywhere. So, this week, I thought....okay, it's really time to dig in deep and get this weight off.
This week I've really been watching EVERY bit of anything that's been going into my mouth. Instead of whole eggs, I've just been doing egg whites for breakfast. To my surprise with a little broccoli and a sprinkle of cheese, I don't really miss the yolks. Walking like a crazy person every single day. Now today, I can say OFFICIALLY that I am back on track and sitting at 129!!! I haven't been to 120 anything since I was 18. 4 pounds to lose and 2 weeks to do it. I CAN do this!!! I just need to stay dedicated.
2 weeks from today I turn the big 3-0. 20 something had it's ups and downs...a lot of downs, but I'm going to take on 30 something as a new stage and I am so beyond optimistic about it I could burst. I mean, seriously....I'm this happier, healthier version of myself that 20 something would envy.
So...while I going to enjoy saying that I'm still 20 something for 2 more weeks, I will most definitely be ready to greet 30 something with a positive attitude.....AAAAND a smokin' hot new bod:)
