I have a difficult time keeping motivated. Of course, I want the results badly, but I do not work hard enough for them. I don't know why. I can be lazy. Maybe it's because I'm not hung up on aesthetics as much as many other people. I just like working out because it feels good.
I want to lose weight now. I am getting older, and I know I need to lose a good 60 pounds. In a little more than a decade, I will be mid-life. It will be good to lose weight for my health, especially my back and my knees. Not only that, but I will feel better about myself and aging. lol
I read about a great idea, and I'm excited to start it. It's a "workout jar." Well, mine is a box I got from work, but same concept! I sealed it up, cut a hole in the top big enough to put rolled up dollars in. My idea is, when I workout (and I mean a real workout and not just walking around the block), I will put in $2! This way I will have some money later on. The goal is to lose weight, and with weight should/would come inches as well. I will be in dire need of new clothes, so that is what the workout fund will be used for. I am so stoked to start this!
