Well, another week has ended with a 1 lb loss. I did horrible on week 3, a lot of messing up and never counted my calories. I'm back on track now and working harder than ever. I've noticed that my face is slimmer and my belly is flatter. My uniforms are really loose now too, but the scale hasn't changed much...what is up? I have been doing strength training as well, but you would still expect to see a weight loss. Oh well, I'l just keep going, as long as it takes to reach my goal.

If you're doing strength training, you're building lean muscle mass which is more dense per square inch. So if you're tightening up, there's a chance you won't see much of a difference on the scale at first. For me, I usually see a weight drop after about two weeks.. then maybe a month or two afterwards, pending on how rigourous I'm doing strength training.

But on the bright side, lean muscle burns more calories when at rest. So, for the long haul, you'll reap the rewards much more!

The calorie counting and just being aware of what I'm eating has helped out tons so far. I try to 'taste' every bite. That with sleeping on a regular schedule have gone a long way for my diet. I used to go to bed somewhere in between 9pm and 1am and sleep irregular hours. Now I go to bed the same time every night and don't have those carb/fat cravings anymore.

Either way, I'm sure you'll reach your goal!
