My husband was doing a DIY project in the den where our treadmill is located, so I could not use it on Tuesday and Wednesday. I also chose this time to stop drinking coffee after 12n since I've been having trouble sleeping. The upshot is that I sat in bed on Tuesday and Wednesday in a stupor. By the time I woke up this morning, I had no energy, my head and neck were sore, my stomach was queasy, and I couldn't think clearly.
So what did I do when I woke up feeling like a zombie? I hopped on the treadmill and walked for 45 minutes. I am glad that I met my goal for the day -- 1.75 miles -- but walking was not a magic fix. I'm typing this at 8:45p and I still feel achy and unsteady. My conclusion: I would rather drink coffee and stay awake until 1a than have two days of this discomfort.
