Hate this feeling

Friday, October 05, 2012

I write this as the sit here FULL of chinese food. I hate that I feel guilty for that meal and the soda that I drank with it. I am motivated by the great numbers I am seeing on the scale and now I feel this is a step backwards. I have to let this go and move forward. I really wanted that meal and I got it. Now to let that be the only cheat I have for the next 2 weeks. I CAN DO THIS. That is all. :-)

I think a cheat meal should be encouraged. Sometime our bodies get so used to our routines and our weekly menus. You're a rockstar, don't let this bring you down. Keep up the good work you are doing great.

Gotta let go of the emotions tied to the food! Food shouldn't make us happy, guilty, or anything in between. It's fuel! Who gets sad about gasoline? :)

Pick yourself up tomorrow and move forward!

How about next time you work the Chinese food into your plan. You can plan on having it, but make sure to eat a little less and healthier the next day and do a bit of extra exercise. Look at it this way: if you plan 1500 cals a day you end up with 10,500 for the week - so Mon you have 1200, Tues 1400, Wed 1300, Thurs 2000(Chinese), Fri 1400, Sat 1700 and Sun 1500 (I think that adds to 10,500 lol). Don't get yourself down. Put it behind you and move forward. emoticon
