Well, Aunt Betty is all moved in, I have worked and worked running up and down stairs to get it all ready for her, and she is very happy!
I am tired, but it was good exercise for me. Stairs has been the last thing that I have been avoiding since my surgery, because they do hurt, but doing them, is making the muscles much stronger.
I am pretty sore, but not in pain. Went swimming for the last time yesterday in my niece's pool with the kids, and it was great.
Going to go to the pool at the gym tomorrow, as it has turned cold again, and they are closing the pool this weekend.
Weds, was my year anniversary of having my back surgery. I am really kind of shocked to realize that.
This surgery has really kind of defined me for the last year. It has really more consumed me.
But, the outcome has been so positive that it is all so worth it.
Dr told me after the surgery that I would probably be pretty good at a year, or a year and a half. Well, at a year, I am doing well, so much better that before the surgery that I am so very grateful.
Have lost most of the weight I had gained back before the surgery, and am much stronger.
It has been a true blessing.
Onward, and upward, one day at a time.
